The Progressive Change Institute (PCI) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization that uses cutting-edge technology to harness the power of people behind new ideas, and inject those ideas into mainstream political discourse. Our work intersects technology, data, policy and strategy. Our programs enable regular people to make democracy better, bolder, more distributive, and more representative.
We were founded Adam Green and Stephanie Taylor, who previously co-founded the Progressive Change Campaign Committee (PCCC), a million-member grassroots organization that builds progressive power by electing better progressives at the local, state, and federal levels. We realized that we needed a new organization to change the battlefield of ideas, giving citizens the opportunity to bring bold innovations into political discourse. And so the Progressive Change Institute was born.
We are leading thinkers on the use of technological platforms to scale progressive power. Our programs empower people to take meaningful action against inequality through smart, open source tools. We're a think tank, "do tank," for the masses.
